Primo Properties is a registered trading style of General Guarantee Collections Ltd a finance and collections company based in Manchester, England.

The company is owned by the two joint managing directors Neil McConnell and David Montgomery who have a total of 60 years experience in the world of Finance and Business. Prior to setting up their own company in 2003 they were both senior directors of the Finance Division of GUS Plc one of the UK's top Footsie 100 Company's.

They have worked together as a team for nearly 20years. Neil's expertise as a former Finance Director and qualified accountant complementing perfectly David's experience in Operations, Sales and Marketing. Both are used to managing people and businesses at the highest level and the experiences gained from working in a Plc environment have given them the skills necessary to be focussed and successful in newer ventures.

'We looked at many properties and locations in Southern Europe before deciding that Portugal was right for us' states David 'Our first projects were building two four bedroom villas in the central Algarve around Carvoeiro and we have developed from there. We spend an enormous amount of time looking for potential new plots or projects and have worked hard to establish an excellent network of local agents, management companies, building contractors, lawyers and architects. The language is one of the biggest issues and although the vast majority of people speak English to some degree most of our contacts and all our project managers are all bilingual. Portugal is a really family friendly country with lovely people, great weather, beaches and quality lifestyle with none of the extremes of some other popular holiday destinations.
